Bang on the Drum
Guest drummer performs with Sh-boom

Thanks to Vinnie Pietropaoli for sitting in on drums for several gigs in June. Vinnie is best known as the former drummer for Tommy James and the Shondells.  (You've heard Vinnie play drums on Tommy James' mega-hit record, "Mony, Mony.")

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
Sh-boom night with the Cardinals

Section 218 at Busch Stadium will be packed full of Sh-boom fans on July 15th for "Sh-boom Night at the Ballgame." Sh-boom was amazed how quickly the 161 tickets sold out. Thanks to the Children's Miracle Network for the tickets.   Even of you're not joining Sh-boom in section 218, the band would love to see you at the game. Wear your Sh-boom t-shirt and arrive early to Sh-boom sing the National Anthem.  Then look in right field for the black and pink t-shirts among the sea of red.

Kind of a Drag
More 50s, 60s, and 70s tunes added to the show

'70s fans will remember the tight harmonies and opera-like arrangements of the band Queen.  Sh-boom's own Dyno Dave is a dead ringer for Queen's lead singer, Freddie Mercury.  Speaking of queens... the Sh-bimbos are back!   Luscious LaMarta, the newest Sh-bimbo, says her new dress does indeed make her feel like a "Natural Woman."  Scott and Tom recapture the sound of Steely Dan with "Reelin in the Years," while Lamar will reel in your heart with the Platters classic tune, "Only You."  Catch a concert soon to see our guys belt out their best in the summer months ahead.
