SOONER OR LATER?
Be the first to receive the Yak

You now have the option to receive Sh-Boom's newsletter "electronically" rather than via snail mail. By opting for the E-Yakety Yak, you'll be the first to get the newsletter AND you'll receive updates about Sh-Boom's latest events before press time (it also saves Sh-Boom the cost of printing and postage!).

Make the switch today by sending an e-mail to switch@sh-boom.com, or use Sh-Boom's "Guestbook" , or call us at (314)487-4266. Please tell us your name as it appears on your address label as well as the e-mail address(es) where you want it sent. You can also pick up a "hard copy" of the Yakety Yak in person at any Sh-Boom event.

SH-BITS AND SH-BLUNDERS
Sh-Boom Gossip and Gab

A lot has happened since our last writing. The nation experienced tragedy as well as a renewed sense of patriotism. Sh-Boom thanks the organizers of the "Italian Fest" in Collinsville, IL and "Arnold Days" in Arnold, MO for contributing their proceeds to the Sept. 11th fund. Several patriotic songs were added to Sh-Boom's song list and were premiered at the Casa Loma Halloween show. Scott sings Neil Diamond's "America" and you've got to see Lamar's All-American Elvis. Next, you can catch the Sh-Boom vocalists performing the National Anthem at the St. Louis University Billikens basketball game on Feb. 22nd. Call (314)977-3182 for tickets.

Sh-Boom continued their annual holiday tradition as members of the band strolled the halls of Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital on November 26th. The vocalists sang Christmas tunes for the patients and their families, as well as the hospital staff. Sh-Boom's caroling concluded with an encore performance for the ER staff. Gil Engler of the "Children's Miracle Network" (CMN) also lent a hand to support the kids and led Sh-Boom on the tour. Don't forget about the Sh-Boom's dance to support CMN and the hospital on March 23rd. Call (314)434-6880 for info'.

Radio personality Kevin McCarthy joined Sh-Boom on stage at the Science Center in a benefit for the World Adoption Agency. Sh-Boom's own Heartthrob Rob turned 40 on Oct. 25th. In his honor, the Missouri Community College Association. rented the ballroom of the Millennium Hotel and invited several hundred guests-none of which Rob knew! Rob is reportedly still puzzled as to why there wasn't any cake or gifts!

Sh-Boom vocalist Screamin' Scott hits 40 in February. We've not yet found corporate sponsorship for his party, although, we expect Anheuser-Busch to be involved in some way.
