SH-BITS AND SH-BLUNDERS
Sh-Boom Gossip and Gab

Sh-Boom was a smash hit on KLOU radio's morning bash with Smash, while the Smash Band was a booming success with Sh-Boom. Wait a minute...now I'm confused! You see, Sh-Boom had great fun with St. Louis radio's, Smash, on his Christmas show on 103.3 FM KLOU. Sh-Boom obliged song requests from Mayor Francis Slay, Broadcaster Jack Snow, and others. The Smash Band joined Sh-Boom on New Year's Eve to entertain a sell-out crowd of partygoers at the Renaissance Airport Hotel. You can view New Years Eve photo's here

The new year brings to fore the celebration of Sh-Boom's 20th Anniversary! Upcoming events include the annual Children's Miracle Network's "Night of Miracles" dance (March 8th), a "Spring Break" party at the Casa Loma Ballroom (March 29th), and a Sh-Boom fan getaway to the birthplace of rock 'n' roll.

After a mere six months in the band Dennis "Hit Man" Roussin has been awarded his own Sh-Boom baseball jersey and number. What's the number?" you ask. Answer: 2 n 4.

Former Sh-Boom drummer, "Mighty Mike" Watermann, is performing with several bands near his home in Santa Rosa, CA. Mike has played gigs with Al Garth, who played sax for bands such as Loggins & Messina, The Eagles, and Glenn Frey. That's kind of like saying, you know a guy, that knows the guy, that use to be Elvis' hairdresser...but pretty cool still the same.

On a related note, Sh-Boom guitarist, "Tommy Gunn" Gerke, is playing guitar with Sh-Boom, who knows a guy, that knows Al Garth, who played with...well, you get the point!

ROBERT C. CRAIG (1937 - 2002)

Sh-Boom respectfully says a loving farewell to a long-time friend, Bob Craig. Bob, who passed away in October, referred to Sh-Boom as "his boys". Sh-Boom was honored to sing at his funeral. Bob, you're family to us as well, and we miss you.
